Al Duhail eliminates Al Sailiya and reaches the semi-finals of the most expensive tournaments

The first goal of the match came in the 12th minute by Toby Alderfield with a header, taking advantage of the corner kick made by Edmilson. In the 34th minute Ismail Mohamed managed to score the second goal after receiving a through pass from Ferjani Sassi, who put him in the face of Al Sailiya goalkeeper, Ismail easily scored in Al Sailiya net and ended the first half of the match, with Al Duhail advancing by two goals to zero.

In the second half, Al Sailiya managed to brimg the difference closer in the 54th minute through striker Walter Bwalya, after Muhammad Alaa made a mistake in dealing with a shot, and it reached the Al Sailiya striker, who put the ball in the net. But Abdul Rahman Muhammad returned and increased the difference again in the 57th minute by scoring the third goal with a powerful shot that settled in the far left corner of the Al Sailiya goal.

The captain, returning from injury, Karim Boudiaf, scored the fourth goal in the 76th minute with a header from Nam Tae Hee's corner kick.
